Movers for Meals - Thanksgiving Food Drive
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond Hill & Thornhill is proud to have participated in a Thanksgiving Food Drive held in partnership with Metro Grocery, with donations going to help feed those in need.
The Mikey Network & Mikey On Board
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond Hill & Thornhill has partnered with The Mikey Network to help support Mikey's mission to promote "heart-healthy living" and the placement of as many public access defibrillators as possible.
As part of the Mikey On Board program, all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond Hill & Thornhill moving trucks are now equipped with a MIKEY defibrillator, and all movers, drivers, and staff, have been trained how to use a MIKEY AED.
When you see a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond Hill & Thornhill moving truck, it doesn't just mean someone is moving in or out of the neighbourhood. It means there's help close by in the event of a cardiac emergency.

GREEN INITIATIVES
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond Hill & Thornhill, we strive to keep our environment clean because we don’t just service the community but we are also members of it. Our recycling program helps us to stay true to our green goals. With our friends from Trillium Recycling we are able to recycle all of our moving supplies used during the move. We are very proud to be able to say that 100% of our cardboard, packing paper, stretch wrap, bubble wrap and mattress bags are recycled in an effort to reduce our overall footprint.
Hill House Hospice
Hill House Hospice is a home-like alternative to institutional care and in-home care, for those who are in the final stage of a terminal illness.
Sandgate Women’s Shelter
Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region Inc. is dedicated to empowering all persons who identify as women and their children, through safe shelter, resources, information and advocacy in order to eliminate violence in their lives.
THE TOWN OF RICHMOND HILL HOLIDAY DONATION DRIVE
Every year the Town of Richmond Hill welcomes residents to donate toys and non-perishable food items to those in need during their Holiday Donation Drive. We donate and deliver boxes throughout the community, for the campaign.
All food donations are forwarded to the Richmond Hill Food Bank, a local non-profit organization that assists those in need in the Richmond Hill community. Donations of non-perishable items include, but are not limited: rice, pasta, coffee, canned meats, canned fruit, powdered milk and toiletries (such as toothpaste and soap). In addition to non-perishable food donations, all Richmond Hill Fire Stations accept new and unused toys as well as clothing donations for children and especially teens.
