Giving Back to Our Community

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Halifax & Mainland Nova Scotia, being part of the community means more to us than just moving people from one location to the next.

We’re proud to support our local community programs, shelters and donation drives, throughout Halifax and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s lending a hand, raising awareness, or helping collect donations, giving back is an important part of who we are.

Movers for Moms

This spring, Two Men and a Truck Halifax is proud to once again support our annual Movers for Moms campaign. Each year, we collect essential care items for local women and families who may need extra support as Mother’s Day approaches.

Since bringing the campaign to Halifax, we’ve partnered with Bryony House, the city’s emergency shelter for women and children fleeing intimate partner violence. Bryony House provides 24/7 safety, shelter, counselling, and vital resources, and community support plays an important role in helping them meet these needs.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of customers like you, we collected nearly 800 essential items. In 2026, we’re aiming even higher and would be grateful for your support. If you’re able, please consider donating an item or two from the wish list below. Our moving team will gladly collect your donation on moving day and deliver it directly to Bryony House.

Local Partners

Bryony House

Two Men and a Truck Halifax is proud to support Bryony House through our annual Movers for Moms campaign, a commitment we have carried forward each year since 2025. Bryony House provides emergency shelter, safety planning, counselling, and essential resources for women and children escaping domestic violence, offering a secure place to rebuild their lives with dignity and support. Through Movers for Moms, our team collects donations, raises awareness, and helps ensure that mothers arriving at Bryony House receive comfort items and necessities during an incredibly difficult time. This partnership reflects our dedication to strengthening our community and standing beside families when they need it most.

Truck Convoy for Special Olympics

Two Men and a Truck is proud to be part of the Truck Convoy for Special Olympics, joining the event in 2024 and continuing to roll forward with purpose. Since becoming involved, our team has helped raise funds that directly support Special Olympics athletes across Nova Scotia, ensuring they have the opportunities, resources, and recognition they deserve. Being part of this convoy is about more than driving trucks; it represents community spirit, inclusion, and meaningful impact, and we’re honoured to support such an inspiring cause.
