Was referred by Cabela as a company that could move a 500 lb safe from a tight fitting basement. They presented as one strong fella and two others not as robust. They should have had better belts and leaverage boards to create a slide effect to push the safe up a ramp like structure. Then once out the door the trolly was not strong enough to go over the loose stones at side of house with that heavy weight. Had to back track to the back drive way and use the back lane to put into the truck which did not have the right ramp system. The new washer and dryer came off the truck ok but had to remove the packaging before moving the items into the basement with my handyman's created ramp system. Thank goodness my hand man Dave was there to promote ideas of this difficult move. NB to clarify move .

The 2 employees were professional and courteous. Went right to work and very organized. Went out of their way to complete job in a timely way under estimate which was important to me.

My only comment would be the use of in-house 'booties' which many of the trades seem use (though grudgingly!) to minimize the dirt tracked in during the wet fall weeks. Other than that aok. Thanks.

No rug protection put down at pick up at all.

The movers were friendly and efficient. A couple things though lowered the quality of the service. I was told there would be 3 people, only two were there. They had trouble with the truck so they arrived 2.5 hours late. They did contact me and warned me if the delay which is a plus since I was already pretty stressed out. I know it is difficult to move Ikea furniture but still I am a bit disappointed that some pieces were slightly damaged and that the bed was not put back together properly (there were some screws missing).
I am still pretty happy about how it went though! Belinda is great on the phone and fast at answering emails :) The quote was pretty accurate even though I wasn’t very aware of all the things that needed to be moved...

I cannot recommend Two Men and a Truck highly enough. From the front office staff to the movers themselves, everyone was courteous, professional, and just great to deal with. Day of the move went as smoothly as a move possibly could and your team made my life so much easier. Many, many thanks!

I was not happy with the fact that one of the movers was on his second day so he was being trained. My estimate turned out to be an hour more because of this and I feel I should not have to pay for someone being trained. No problem with them except for that fact. The trainee would stand around until told what to do and this took up more time that I had to pay for.

Really can't say enough about how great a job your people did. Belinda in your office was extremely helpful and accommodating. The two men that did the moving were extremely hard workers, very up beat and positive. Our move was last-minute and fairly disorganized, but they did not miss a beat. They worked late (without whining about it as many movers can do!) and got everything done in one big trip.

Thanks again! Would definitely recommend you, and use you again in future.
