Kingston Community Involvement

Community Foundation

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Kingston partnered with a local foundation "Community Foundation" and helped donated items to Habitat for Humanity. Our movers Bashir and Bob helped put this together and we are so happy to that we were able to be a part of this initiative and help others in our community have what they need to move forward.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

The Mikey On Board portable defibrillator program

Mikey On Board

The Mikey Network is a Canadian charity whose mission is to promote heart health and place as many AEDs (defibrillators) as possible in public spaces. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kingston is proud to be a part of The Mikey On Board program. Through this program, all of vehicles and moving trucks have been equipped with a portable Mikey Defibrillator and all movers, drivers, and staff at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kingston have been trained on how to use MIKEY AED in an emergency situation. Using an AED within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest can increase a person's chance of survival up to 50%! We hope we never have to use our AEDs but we are glad to have them should the need arise.
