Before your move, it’s important to stay organized. One way to do this is by creating a home moving checklist and the earlier you start the better! We have put together 7 home moving checklist items a month prior to your move here:

- Cleaning: Start to clean out closets, the garage and attic.

- Documents & Records: Arrange to transfer school records.
- Address Change: Get change of address cards from your local post office.
- Next steps: Notify magazines, charge accounts, insurance companies, clubs and all other organizations of your change of address. If possible, get owner’s manuals for appliances in your new home.
