Involved in our community
As a growing business we know the importance of not only being a great service provider, but also giving back to the community.
For the past eight years we actively work with organizations such as, Habitat For Humanity, Local Food Banks and our local Women's Shelter. We also participate in a yearly Thanksgiving turkey drive.
We are proud to have contributed over 500 hours of charitable time totaling over $75,000.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
MOVERS FOR MEALS - THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Oshawa is proud to have organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive this year. The food drive was held in partnership with Metro grocery store and donations went to help food banks and organizations associated with Feed The Need In Durham.
THE MIKEY NETWORK & MIKEY ON BOARD
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Oshawa donates a portion of every move to The Mikey Network.
We are happy to be a part of The Mikey On Board program, where we have equipped all of our moving trucks with a Mikey Defibrillator. All movers, drivers, and staff at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Oshawa are trained on how to use MIKEY AED in an emergency situation. Using an AED within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest can increase a person's chance of survival up to 50%!
Arthritis Society Peterborough
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Oshawa proudly donates a moving truck and manpower to pick up and deliver tables, chairs and tents, to help with the Arthritis Society Walk To Fight Arthritis.
KELLER WILLIAMS GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE TURKEY DRIVE
Every year TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Oshawa joins Keller Williams Realty Oshawa/Whitby for “Give where you live”. We donate our moving truck and staff to pick up and deliver dry goods and turkeys to help over 1500 families in the Durham area enjoy a Christmas dinner.
Keller Williams Red Day
In the spring we assist Keller Williams with Red Day, “Renew, Energize and Donate! We have helped clean up schools, Big Brothers, Big sisters of Clarington, picked up roadside garbage, and more. Every year we look forward to helping out in our community!
