At the helm of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK - NIAGARA REGION, Cotie Drinkwater stands as a model of community-focused leadership. As President, Cotie has transformed a moving company into a beacon of hope and support for the Niagara community.
Under his guidance, his TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise has become synonymous with charitable giving and community support in the Niagara Region. Cotie and his team make giving back to the community their passion … it's in his DNA.
Always a fixture in the Grimsby Santa Claus parade, his team also supported the Women's Place of South Niagara by participating in their book riot - delivering three full truckloads of books from a local storage facility to their central warehouse. They provide in-kind junk removal services to the Fort Youth Centre supporting youth for a better tomorrow.
And in a time when food scarcity is rising, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK – NIAGARA REGION have donated non-perishable food items to a local Grimsby church.
Finally, Cotie is fully committed to The Mikey Network … a charitable organization that places Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) in public locations to help people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. He participates in Mikey On Board – where all of his trucks are outfitted with a Mikey and his drivers and movers are trained on how to use an AED. Recently, Cotie and his team have made a $12,000 donation of MIKEY defibrillators to the local YWCA.
We congratulate Cotie on receiving our Public Service Award this year. It is through him that we see a leader who understands that true success lies not in how much we gain, but in how much we give back.”
