At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, being part of the communities we serve is an important part of who we are. On August 21, our team had the opportunity to take part in the Touch-a-Truck event in Oshawa, Ontario. We were excited to bring one of our 5-tonne, 26-foot moving trucks to the event for local families to see up close. Representing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® were two of our team members, Tien and Charlie. Throughout the evening, Tien and Charlie spent time chatting with members of the community and welcoming families to our truck. Children had the chance to get an up-close look at what it is like inside and around a professional moving truck. For many kids, seeing a big moving truck up close was a highlight of the evening. Events like Touch-a-Truck give children an opportunity to learn about the vehicles and people that help keep their communities moving. They also give our team a chance to step away from our day-to-day work and connect with the people we serve. We believe that being an active member of our community goes beyond helping customers with their moves. It means showing up, getting involved, and supporting events that bring neighbors and families together. Community involvement is one of our core values, and we are proud to put that value into action. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our truck, said hello, and spent some time with Tien and Charlie. We especially enjoyed seeing the excitement on the faces of the children as they explored the truck. As Movers Who Care®, we believe that caring for our communities is just as important as caring for our customers and their belongings. We are proud to call Oshawa home and look forward to continuing to support local events and organizations in the community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Oshawa Touch-a-Truck event such a great evening. We can't wait to see our community again at the next event!
